Written warranty

1 year on a full tub reglaze, 6 months on repairs.

The same tub. The same fridge. Nothing replaced.

Every photo below is SimPro's own work in a Bermuda home. Drag the handle to see what refinishing actually does to a worn surface.

Bathtub with rust and heavy staining around the drain before refinishing The same bathtub after refinishing Before After

Bathtub, rust at the drain

Staining and rust around the waste, and a worn anti slip base. The tub stayed exactly where it was.

A household fridge with rust spreading along the lower door and base The same fridge after refinishing, a clean even white surface Before After

Fridge, rust along the base

A working appliance that had rusted through its finish. Refinished in place rather than thrown out.

Refinish, or replace?

Both end with a surface you are happy to look at. They are very different weeks.

SimPro only does the left column. We will tell you honestly when a fixture is past refinishing.
Compared on Refinish it Replace it
What happens We restore the surface you already have. The fixture comes out and a new one goes in.
Your room Masked, worked on, and left clean. Plumbing, tiling, and making good afterwards.
What it leaves behind Nothing goes to the tip. The old fixture is hauled out and dumped.
What you end up with A fresh, even finish on the original fixture. A new fixture, plus everything disturbed around it.
The bill A cost effective alternative to replacement. The fixture itself is only part of it.

How it works

Four steps, and the first one takes about a minute on your phone.

  1. Send us photos

Snap the tub, the tile or the appliance and send the pictures with your quote request.

  2. We come back with a price

A quote for that specific surface, in writing. There is no charge for asking.

  3. We refinish it in place

We mask the room, prepare the surface and apply the new finish. Nothing is removed.

  4. You use it again

We leave the room clean and go through how to look after the new finish.

Who calls us

Homeowners and landlords

Usually it is one surface that has started to look worse than the rest of the room.

  • A tub that is stained or rusted around the drain
  • A chip from something dropped in the bath or the sink
  • Bathroom or floor tile that has gone dull and tired
  • A fridge or washer marked with rust along the base
  • Getting a rental ready before the next tenant
  • Putting a house in front of buyers

Property managers and hospitality

When the same tub appears in twelve units, replacing them is a project. Refinishing them is a schedule.

  • Guesthouses
  • Rental turnovers
  • Apartment blocks
  • Hotel guest rooms

Questions people ask

If yours is not here, call and ask. It is a short conversation.

(441) 236-8827
Do you replace bathtubs?

No. SimPro refinishes the surface of the bathtub you already have. We do not take fixtures out, lay tile, or carry out plumbing or mechanical repairs.

What can you refinish?

Bathtubs, wall and floor tile, and household appliance surfaces, plus chip and rust repairs on sinks and tubs. If you are unsure, send a photo and we will tell you either way.

How do I get a price?

Send photos of the surface with the quote form on this page, or call (441) 236-8827. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to book.

Which parts of Bermuda do you cover?

All nine parishes: Sandys, Southampton, Warwick, Paget, Pembroke, Devonshire, Smith's, Hamilton Parish and St. George's.

Is the work covered by a warranty?

Yes. A full bathtub reglaze carries a 1 year warranty, repairs carry 6 months, and tub liners carry 5 years. We go through what is covered when we quote.

How long has SimPro been doing this?

SimPro was founded in 2008 and has been restoring surfaces in Bermuda homes for eighteen years, including around 1,500 homes since 2021.

What does the finished surface look like?

A fresh, clean finish on the original fixture. The before and after photos on this page are our own work, photographed in the room, not lit in a studio.

How do I look after it afterwards?

A refinished surface wants a non abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth, the same as any good finish. We go through it with you before we leave.
